GREENSBORO, N.C. – Well•Spring, A Life Plan Community has distributed $7,500 in charitable gifts to area nonprofits as part of its annual Holiday Tree Decorating Contest.

Eleven organizations were invited to decorate a tree that showcases their missions and then encourage their supporters to come out, view the trees and vote for their favorite one. Each participating nonprofit automatically receives $500, and the organization whose tree receives the most votes wins an additional $2,000.

This year, the tree that receive the most votes was created by the Greensboro Symphony.

“Our annual Holiday Tree Decorating Contest has become a big tradition here at Well•Spring,” said Lynn Wooten, vice president for Marketing & Public Relations at parent company The Well•Spring Group. “Not only do our residents enjoy seeing all the beautiful, creative trees, but the company also has found a fun way to give back to the greater Greensboro community. These nonprofits provide critical services, and we’re pleased to help support them.”

  • A Simple Gesture
